Has she just ripped the pancreas out of the woman on top of her?????;)

A job is a job, well done OP.

Really annoys me when people say a job is "beneath them" when there really aren't many options about. If I were in dire straits, I'd flip burgers to pay my bills.

Yes, this is true. I almost considored becoming a rent boy whilst i was unemployed.

Why spend that amount though? There aren't cutting edge games any more. Just spent £750 and get a nice one to play all the latest games on.

This, so this.

Spent like £600 last June. Plays everything maxed out pretty much.

The Rig itself is going to cost me around 950, thats including a 120GB SSD, 1 1TB drive, everything, however the £400-£500 extra is stuff like Keyboard, mouse, headset, sound card, fans, cables, Operating system, Software, and Games that i will buy. So I will have ABOSOLUTLEY EVERYTHING for arund £1600 which come to think of it is pretty cheap

I used to work in the Manchester one just over 3 years ago. In the training video they mentioned how primark was considered 'cool' that was funny to say the least ;). Still I found it to be an alright job and the staff were great! Plus some rather attractive students used to wander in there from time to time. Have fun!

This.

Well done OP on getting a job, I've heard primark pays pretty well for what it is and £6.91 is pretty damn good to be fair!

OP: Great news :-) Well done. There have been times when I haven't been able to get a job (Unusual for me)... so damn well done. Not easy times at present.

Not having a job can be totally demoralising... personally if you know how that feels, before Ivybridge.. put a little aside for emergencies.

Good luck in the new position.

You have high hopes, congrats on the job and all, it pays more than I get, but I wouldn't consider £6.91 as "extremely well paid"

£15 an hour, now thats "extremely well paid"

For un skilled it's well paid if you ask me

It is in this climate . Most companies are employing people through minimum wage agencies and on temporary low hour contracts etc

"Extremely well paid" is obviously going to have a subjective definition. Given it's a good bit above minimum wage, for unskilled work, and that hundreds of thousands of people can't even find any job at all, I'd say it's pretty good.

Is that not subjective though, you consider £15 an hour to be 'extremely well paid'?

I certainly don't......it would be significantly below my last employment for example, and still below what I earn now even though I am in a research/study position.
