**GOT AN EVGA GRAPHICS RELATED QUESTION OR NEED SUPPORT - ASK HERE!!**

Hi,
Firsty great support idea.

I currently have an EVGA GTX570 SSC FTW edition
I'm getting an EVGA GTX670 next week, what are the best drivers to get?

Someone in another thread recommended the 310.90s. I am using 296.10 currently.

Is it still a good idea to uninstall drivers, use driver cleaner etc even when the cards are both EVGA?

My motherboard is PCI-E 2, I see the 670 says it supports PCI-E 3. What will i be losing? (if anything)

This is my motherboard - http://m.gigabyte.com/product/product.aspx?pid=3159&c=105000000

(*Think ive found my answer to this bit - PCIe 3.0 is a great evolution, one day it may actually support a better gameplay experience compared to PCIe 2.0, but that day is not today. *)

Hi,

about the drivers this is depending on the application you run but moslty the latest one is the best one because of improvements that are done with each step.
Yes, it is a good idea to use cleaning tools because driver make notes in the registrie and those can occur issues after multiple driver installation, also if you only use EVGA cards. You can also go for a clean installation with the NVIDIA driver, for this you have to run the custom installation then you can set the check mark for this.

Hi Dominik,

I have emailed EVGA about a graphics card I purchased on ebay that appears to not be working. The serial number is 1212532670602464

My PSU / specs - Corsair TX850, i5 750 cpu, 8gb kingston, m4 ssd OS drive

Please could you advise what to do and if it is possible to RMA the card (if possible advance RMS)

Regards
Alex

Hi,

Yes, we can offer to handle RMA with the card, what you need for this is an EVGA Account at eu.evga.com and the product need to get registered in this account. When this is done please send me an email to [email protected] then we can open a RMA ticket and you can request the RMA online. After the approval you can send us the card. We offer different kinds of warranty, you can get more information about this at eu.evga.com/warranty.

Hi,

if it is about purchasing products from OCUK you will need to request this at the end of OCUK http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=72

Hi,

Its been sorted now (was an old GTX570 driver)

This sorted it. Thanks Tommy

My 570 was still in there despite uninstalling the driver and using driver cleaner.
I could then install the latest drivers

Now to work out how to use this EVGA Precision thing

EVGA responses over email were very fast too - thanks Kevin

I have had a email saying the EVGA GTX 670 FTW Backplate is back in stock at EVGA. Shipping makes it expensive 17.90 + 12 euros shipping 29.90. Are these going out to supplier like OcUK.

Hi,

this backplate is only available at the EVGA Store. On your model will also fit the GTX 680 Backplate which is available at OCUK, may this is an option.

Hi Overclockers,

at the following link you can find our Titan Line Up. The cards will be available as normal boxed ones and Signature ones with T-Shirt, Mousepad and Gaming poster. The Card will be available as "vanilla", "SC" and "HC" Version. We will also provide a backplate for it.

Hi there,
I have a Titan on pre order. Is the warranty affected if I fit a waterblock to the card?

Obviously if I break the card due to fitting the block this wouldn't be covered.

I know previously fitting a block wasn't an issue. But that was back when you gave out 10 year warranties.

This is the only reason I am buying EVGA.

Hello Asgard,

we do with the Titan also allow to remove the cooler and install another one without void the warranty. You are right, if you physically damage the board during the built this is not covered by the warranty.
FYI
With the KR model you do get three years of warranty and if you want to you can upgrade optional up to 5 or 10 years.

Great news, thanks for that:)

Hi again,
I have another question related to the standard edition Titan.

Will voltage control be unlocked?
It appears board partners can lock this option out. I know you have other editions in the works so it would be good to get clarification on this.

Many thanks
