If it helps have already bought an EVGA classified 780GTX Ti to drop in as replacement for now... ;) Do I need to update the BIOS if I just want to run it at stock?
 
I got a second EVGA 780 SC a week or so ago from OcUK - can I acquire ACIV: Black Flag or Splinter Cell from the EVGA site or has that promotion ended now?
 
The tripple gamebundle stopped at the beginning of this year and switched to a AC promo only. This gamebundle is with the Etailer and NVIDIA directly, normally you should have received the AC code with the card. Did you get this?
EVGA do also run a couple of own promotions like Painkiller, Deadfull and Rise fo the Triad, you can request those codes at the promo pages http://eu.evga.com/promos/

I would imagine that is for second batch of Kingpins bound for UK.

We pre-ordered in December for the first UK batch which has gone MIA.

Hmmm, I didn't get an ACIV code with it actually - maybe I'll check it out with OcUK.

About the KP cards, at the moment we do not have confimed information about further batches. When they will be ready and how much. I will update you as soon as I get further inforamtion.
 
Wow. That's the worst possible response but thanks for the update.

very naughty of evga as it makes ocuk look bad as well as evga. pre-orders were taken on 20th December (my account was debited by $2500 usd) and we were told by evga that the uk consignment was due on 19th Jan.

So in short the extra cards were sold on the evga store to anyone who wanted one without pre-order and pre-order customers get shafted with no eta.

Who shall I send the bill for the unused blocks and back plates to?

I did not say they will never ever come again. At the moment I just do not have exact information and do not want to post rumors. As soon as there are confirmed information about next shipment I will let you know.
 
I do agree with besty it seems bad he pre ordered, and missed out despite evga USA selling 2 lots and evga Europe doing at least 1 lot , Surely EVGA Eurpore at least could have given some of its stock to pre orders??
 
Where do you have those information about different batches in the US from?
There have also been other places that have presold the cards when we announced it and there got probably more cards presold that we will ever have available.
I can understand that you are not happy about the whole situation in this case but sending 2 units to everybody that already tooked preorders would not made anything better.

i'd have to ask if there was more paid pre orders than cards will ever be made why EVGA europe had any at all for sale? surely customers that had pre paid should have gotten 1st chance?

Because mostly this have been shops we are not even working with and mostly it was not done in cooperation with us.
