120mm Sharkoon System Fan Power 39dB(A) 2400 rpm Case Fan with 81cfm!

1) the 2 Sharkoon fans shall i plug one in to the cpu fan header on the motherboard and the other fan also in a system fan header on the mobo?? would this be fine for my motherboard (not overloading etc) i be running the fans on max setting all the time through this hot patch of weather???

2) people with i7 920 cpu and thermalright heatsinks how did u apply your termal paste on the CPU a pea sized blob in the middle on the cpu with non on the heatsink or did you follow the AS5 way on there website for the i7 cpus??

thank you

One fan per header wont hurt the motherboard unless they're mad fans like deltas.

I run two fans off my cpu header routinely, and have done for ages. Can splice the fans together or get a Y fan splitter. Otherwise you can certainly run one off the motherboard, I'd chose the 'pull' one myself. If running flat out despite the noise, connect both to a molex and leave the motherboard headers alone if you like. Many options

I don't have an i7, I tend to follow AS5 directions for my quad core. My amd runs so cold anyway that it just doesn't matter how I apply it (17 degrees idle, 21 load at the moment). It's slow though :)

On my asus p5q deluxe i ran those same fans on my TRUE, one on the cpu fan header and one on the power header, as both theese fans were 3 pin they ran full speed of theese connectors (no 3 pin fan speed reduction) wee bit loud but perfectly safe.

Not sure on the fans - but I would ignor the instructions on the AS5 and use the rule 'less is more' an amount equal to a grain of rice and then with clingfilm over your finger spread thinly to all four corners. Best results in my experience of 20years building PCs.

wow

i had difficulties the fans i orderd didnt have gaps between the holes to mount the fans with the clips that the True came with i was stumped so i used my noggin drilled holes at top of fans and put cable ties around them to secure them... also im running one fan on the MOBO cpu header and the other on sys fan 3 header... how can i tell if both fans are running full tilt as in bios it doesnt say the sys fan 3 speed??? i know CPU header fan is running on full cos its 3pin plugged into 4 pin mobo connection...

also which way do fans blow open side they suck in from and side with thin wire running down a thin cross frame the blow out from right??? if so my setup is right...
