Just seen the this trailer for this, looks pretty awesome, coming this autumn.

I really hope it's dark and gritty like Christopher Nolan's trilogy. One for the diary definitely.

Omg, the guy from The OC did something else?!

I hear they've persisted with the old monotone trombone music as featured in Inception. When is someone gonna think of something else?

A big fat meh from me. I like Ben McKenzie and Donal Logue but this looks boring as hell.

**** Sean Pertwee is Alfred, I don't understand that casting TBH
But here's hoping this is good

I really like the look of this. I'm a massive fan of the Batman series, and the games alike, this will be an interesting watch. I hope it lives up to expectations!!

Looks good to me, though I was a bit put off by the young super villains thing too.
Gotham is a great setting, so they should be able to do more than few good things with this.

I'll take a punt on it.

I'd give this a try - it could be interesting to experience a comic book adaptation that doesn't focuss on the heroes/villains so much.

I love Arrow, and i'm looking forward to the Flash tie ins when that show starts. It's a shame those 2 won't link directly to the DC movies they are making due to filming schedules but still plenty good looking DC stuff in the works and the more the better for me.

So it's a TV series on Fox, looks like 13 epsiodes:

It follows the eventual Commissioner Gordon from his induction into the police force, and his quest to find the killers of Bruce Wayne's parents. Along the way he will encounter Catwoman, The Riddler, Poison Ivy and Penguin, all also embarking on their criminal careers, while young Wayne uses the deaths as the crucible for his transformation into Batman.

I'll most certainly be watching it.

Looks pretty good, it's definitely a cool setting so I'm not surprised they have tried to do some more with it.

Not sure about the younger versions of everyone, I hope that doesn't take away from it or becomes the main focus, will have to wait and see.

Why is there always such negativity on this place? It hasn't even aired yet FFS!

There isn't all that much negativity here. And yes, it hasn't aired yet, but I don't think it looks very promising. I'm sorry if you can't deal with that opinion.

Check out the Gotham Central comic series.

The stories are quite depressing, as the average police officer can't cope in a city filled with pyschos who enjoy dressing up, one-liners and torture.

The paradox of Batman should make for a boring show - The costumed super villains only come to Gotham because of the costumed hero protecting it.
But they don't have to stick to existing story and time lines - so fingers crossed they make something good.
