GOW - Who's Man Enough?

I have a dilemma I have it on pre-order with little woods that I have already paid for way back in march. Got it for about £28 cant remember the exact amount.

But i'm unlikely to see this in a hurry. Do I go to tesco's tonight and say **** it. Now my nephew is getting a 360 for christmas he's 8. If I kept the lxdirect one for him will it be too scary? Or I could just sell on the lx one.

Aggggggggghhhh

^I wouldn't say its that scary, but it has got a lot of blood, guts and gore. Still though I wouldn't recommend it for him.

18 rated horror games weren't so bad a few years ago, but they get worse and worse with each passing year with the graphics becoming more realistic.

So you've not got GOW?

I'm not sure there ever will be a GRAW2 O'clock. hopefully I will have this game till Hallo3 and then from then on it will only be Halo3 o'clock

Nope, don't have it. Can't be bothered with linear single player ... and I can't see that the playability would beat the likes of GRAW for multiplayer?

Even if you don't like the multi-player you get the pleasure of chain-sawing krono into tiny pieces :D I have been looking forward to doing that since the thread was posted

What sort of game modes are there in multiplayer?

Tried to join you online Da Mic, but for some reason it will not let me connect to you.

My Nat is set to open and everything so it should be ok, I do believe though they are bringing out a patch to address connecting to game issues...

Not played it myself yet but there are

Warzone - Team based death match
Assasination - One person is the 'leader' on each team and your goal is to assainate the opposing teams leader
Execution - Shooting bullets alone won't kill your enemy's you have to go in close to finish them off with melee while they are down

There's also quite a few options to fiddle about with which I can't explain because I haven't hosted or even played it yet.

Edit: I also forgot you can also play Co-op of the single player campaign over xbox live.

HOW LONG TILL I'M BORED? As well as the engrossing single-player mode with its interesting story, the multi-player set-up here is second to none.

Either join forces in co-op mode or taking on other teams for some really rich fighting experiences.

But Gears of War should be kept well away from kids, as it’s rated 18 and is pretty gory at times in the style of any big horror movie.

There’s even a chainsaw weapon attached to your gun if you really want to leave your mark on the Locust Horde.

Until Halo 3 arrives next year, Gears Of War will certainly remain the best shooter on the Xbox 360.

It hits the target every time!

VERDICT: 95%
