GPT format

Hi all,

Bit of a newb question but I've never used a GPT partition. I am planning on reformatting my SSD which is the OS drive and wanted to do so with a GPT (I do have a UEFI MB). If I do so will my other drives which are MBR work OK or will I also need to format them as a GPT?

Hi Tyrion.

Not sure if you've already re-formatted the SSD or which method you've used, but just for safety's sake, I wanted to add that you should never use full format on an SSD. Always go for quick format or secure erase if needed.
