GPU Hardware Survey - What Are You Running and Why?

Resolution: 4K
GPU/GPUs: GTX 980Ti
Because: Upgraded from 7970 to a GTX 980, the 980Ti came out and it wasn't much more than my old GTX 980 cost me, for a lot better performance.
Extras:

1080P 120 - *but normally use VSR 1440P or 1800P*
Powercolor PCS+ 290
got it for 190 new - plus had to work with and deal with Nvidia in the past through my job and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Games - PoE; WoT; Witcher 3; ToR; ESO; Ronin; Guns; Gore and Cannoli; Thief; Wasteland 2; Plants Vs Zombies GW; L4D2; BF4; BF3.....etc....

I do a lot of videos for my youtube page

Bonus round I have 3 Ts - Chilly Rose; Mexican Red Rump and Pink Zebra Strip......

Resolution : 1440p
GPU/GPUs : MSI 980ti Gaming
Because : Went from 780sli to a 980ti as I got fed up of the heat/noise and not every game having an sli profile!

Resolution : 1920 x 1200
GPU/GPUs : 780Ti
Because : Recently upgraded from a 680 to a B Grade Gigabyte Reference 780Ti for £200. Price / performance was the key factor, near 980 performance for less than half the cost. I am happy with pre-owned cards as long as they are from a decent manufacturer and trusted seller.
Extras: Prolimatech MK26 air cooler with 2 x Bitfenix 140 PWM fans + Modded BIOS.

Resolution : 1920x1080
GPU/GPUs : nVidia GTS 520
Because : Sold GTX690 and moving house.
Extras: Cannot game on a GTS 520 :(

Now:
Resolution : 1920x1080
GPU/GPUs : nVidia GTX 980Ti
Because : Great price @ £499.99 delivered
Extras: Looking to get another and go to 2560x1440 or wait until there are some more G-Sync 3840x2160 monitors out, with better build quality also.

Resolution: 1920x1080 (TV downstairs) or 2x 1280x1024 monitors upstairs.
GPU: Asus Nvidia GTX580 Direct CUII
Because: it plays GTA V and Battlefield 4 very well still (even at 1080) and it'll soon be getting a second 580 in SLI.

Extras: Brown Sauce and black pepper on my bacon butty please.

Resolution : 1920x1080 27inch AOC
GPU/GPUs : nVidia GTX 980
Because : My mum paid for it
Extras : £250 swivel chair because i never away from pc now

Resolution: 1920 x 1080
GPU/GPUs: MSI GTX780 Lightning
Because: I can't afford anything better and only managed this after a bike accident payout.
Extras: 3 x Volt/Ammeters running values on the VChecks. Soon to be Watercooled, as well. EK, if it matters any.

Resolution: 1920 x 1080

GPU: MSI Gaming GTX 770

Reason: It was a very good upgrade from the horrible 550 ti and was happy with it just up until a few months back. Played everything including Witcher 3 with ease and never had any issues. Will be going for 980 soon as 2gb vram is not enough anymore for some games with overblown textures (looking at you Batman!) ;)

Resolution: 1920 x 1200 + 1600 x 1200 (Dell 2408wfp & iiyama PLH540S)
GPU/GPUs: 1x MSI GTX 780 Gaming
Because: Ideal for my setup, runs everything at acceptably high settings whilst maintaining 60fps. I moved from an unlocked sapphire HD 6950 as it was drinking too many watts running twin screens at idle. Performance in crysis 3 and tombraider wasn't great either.
Extras: Full cover EK block and backplate and a modified bios to stop it boosting and force a constant 3d clock speed/voltage.

Now running a 980ti still @ 1440p.

Upgraded due to the itch and it runs any game I've thrown at it with ease with Gsync.

Resolution: 1080p 32" TV (32LB580V )
GPU/GPUs : 2x MSI 980 Ti Gaming 6G
Because : I am really loving the image quality of running DSR in 4K or close to it, and for that I need all the power I can get. I upgraded from 2x 980 G1's as they just couldn't cope running some games maxed out at 4K at 60fps.

the lightening is a power house mate. mine beats a stock and slightly clocked 970 in all games bar witcher 3 which seems to be borked for kelper.
