GPU Hardware Survey - What Are You Running and Why?

Resolution: 1440p (rog swift)
Cards: Gigabyte Titan X Sli
Reason: I want to get 144fps if I can. Also I can't help buying high end cards.

Resolution: 1080p
Card: 290x 8gb
Reason: I can't help buying high end cards. Always enjoyed having an AMD rig.

Resolution: 1080p
Card: 780ti Matrix Platinum
Reason: I can't help buying high end cards. I also can't bear to let them go!
 
Resolution: 3440 x 1440

GPU: 2 GTX Titans X's in SLI (Plan to only have one due to 360mm radiator limit for case and custom loop, but wrecked screw threads when I was removing the cooler :(, so kept the reference cooler on and picked a second one up :) )
 
Res: 1080 and 1440
GPU: 290x 1180/1500 (core/mem)
Reason: Wanted a good GPU for my money and to try mantle and to play all my games at best detail I can at nothing less than 50fps
Looking at upgrading at the moment.

GPU/GPUs : 290X Tri-X
Because : It was £200 on a special OcUK deal day last summer when it would otherwise be £300
Extras: Don't know. I wouldn't use them even if it had some!

GPU/GPUs : nVidia GTS 520
Because : Sold GTX690 and moving house.
Extras: Cannot game on a GTS 520 :(

Because : Plenty of GPU grunt and runs everything i play at the highest settings
Extras: Battlefield 4 and Witcher 3

Because : 2nd HD7950 broke :-/
Extras: Looking to upgrade and go for the highest single card solution, playing gta v atm - boughts of diablo 3 as always and Arkham Knight on the horizon

Because : Was best card in sub-£200 range when I was buying, was only dGPU easily available on not stupidly expensive laptops when buying
Extras: 660M crashes in a couple of games so would like to replace it but it's very occasional so can't really be bothered.

bought the card for 50 quid, price tempted me back to amd from nvidia. not happy with the driver support from amd and can see things havent changed in many years. for 50 quid though im not sure how much i can complain......

2x295x2, 1x7990, 1x290x, 1x285, 1x250x 1x7850k

It's useful for my job to be familiar with a range of hardware, plus i like playing games and benchmarking.

Currently playing GTA V and Dirt Rally.
 
Resolution : 1080 120Hz
GPU/GPUs : 670
Because : 4k does nothing for me, 1440 144hz is tempting but I'm in no rush.
Extras: The only new games of any interest are PROJECT Cars and GTA V. PROJECT Cars runs well on my system and GTA V needs to hit a more reasonable price on Steam before I will go for it. I will upgrade to a 5820k before considering a new GPU.

GPU/GPUs : 7950
Because : i sold the 290X lightning, and on the market for a new gpu :)
Extras: magnificent beard on my face

GPU/GPUs : 2 x 7970/280x Xfire
Because : Bought one 7970 then fancied another when they got cheap!
Extras: Want move to 1440p this year

GPU's: SLI x2 Titan X's

Because: want 60fps at ultra settings & no AA and these are the best option to get that right now. Not got g-sync anymore on new 4k monitor so can't get away with 45fps or whatever now. 4k is the business and can't go back to any lower resolutions now.

gpu: hd7970 until tomorrow the gtx980ti
Because: bought new monitor and needed more power
extras: use it for elite, far cry 4, witcher 3 and others
