GPU Hardware Survey - What Are You Running and Why?

Resolution : 1920x1200
GPU/GPUs : GTX780Ti x1
Because : Don't really need any more power at my res. Could easily afford Titan Xs but can't justify spending that much.
Extras: I will reconsider if/when I get a 34inch screen

Resolution, 1920x1200
Gpu, 4790k igpu
Because, ain't got any spare cards
Extras, ordered a 980ti to replace gtx 780's in sli. Wanted a single card solution that matches or beats theese and more vram. Next upgrade is a 1440p monitor

Resolution: 1080p
GPU(s): GTX 570
Because: The R9 290 I bought the other day turned out to be defective.
Extras: Wasn't funny.

Resolution : 1080p 120hz
GPU/GPUs : 7970 Xfire
Because : they are epic and nothing else takes my fancy right now!
Extras: not much demanding at the moment, killing floor 2 and bf4

Resolution: 1920x1080
GPU: Asus DCuII 760 2GB
Because: It was a decent upgrade to the 460 I was running at the time, and a watercooled 970 is a bit beyond my budget at the moment.
Extras: The games I play at the moment are mostly CPU-dependant rather than GPU-dependant.

Resolution : 1440p
GPU : Titan X
Becuase: My girlfriend got refused entry visa to UK so spent airfare money I saved on new computer components
Extras: Just so happened GTA 5 and Witcher 3 were due to be released around same time, wanted to to experience them at 60fps @ 1440p.

Resolution : 1920 x 1080 120Hz screen

GPU/GPUs : GTX770 in SLI

Because : i wanted to drive the 120Hz as much as possible

Extras: i Bought at the wrong time i should got 4GB cards and wish i got a more powerful single card.

Res: 1920x1080
Gpu: 290 Tri-x (stock)
Because: was the best performance per pound spent card when I bought it.
Extras: Have cash ready to buy either a 980ti and Gsync or a the FuryX and Freesync. Winner gets my money, screen will be 27" 1440p 144hz as I have zero interest in 4k

1080p
MSI 280X

Was cheap upgrade from the MM here (from 7850). To upgrade from 280X would be a lot more expensive, but waiting to see what new AMD cards are like.

Don't intent to jump up a res, but would like to use VSR and have better framerates (who doesn't?)

Extras: Alpenfohn Peter II cooler replaced ref cooler.

Res: 3840X2160
Gpu: 1X R290 Msi Gaming
Because: had the card before the monitor
Extras: hoping to get a fury/pro/X/XT but not if its a:too expensive b: not powerful enough.

Resolution: 5760x1080
GPU: MSI 280x
Because: It was about £100 on the members market when my 5850 died.
Extras: I play all of about 3 older games these days, csgo (1080p), need for speed shift and f1 2011 in eyefinity. All of which run absolutely fine for me. I will probably upgrade when fallout 4 comes along.

Resolution: 1080
GPU: GTX 860m
Because: It's a laptop and the 860m along with an i7 and 16gb of ddr3 didn't seem like a bad package.
Extra: It plays defense grid really well.

Resolution : 1440p GSYNC
GPU/GPUs : Nvidia 980
Because : I like having good driver support when games come out and not 6 months later and also GSYNC > Freesync

Resolution : 1440p / 60hz
GPU/GPUs : 290X Crossfire
Because : The 290Xs seemed a steal at ~£150 each
Extras: I'll upgrade as soon as I can't sustain 60fps at 1440p with decent settings.

1650x1050
Sapphire HD 5850

I recently upgraded (X99) but the one thing I didn't was the graphics card. I'd still be using the 4870 but at the time I thought it was faulty which turned out to be a memory clock problem in the end. It still handles all the stuff I use it for and I haven't played many demanding games as of late due to terrible Internet. Can still handle millions of triangles in 3dsmax and all rendering is done by the CPU so a powerful card is not required. I might get a new monitor once I have the space for it and get a 390X to drive it or when F4 comes out.

Nvidia 7950 GT, because my ATI 7970 broke months ago and I havn't been able to afford to upgrade it lol

"GeForce 7950 GT GPUs bring graphics horsepower with a faster core clock and a whopping 512MB of memory while delivering exceptionally smooth frame rates at maximum settings"

Resolution : 4K - GSYNC

GPU/GPUs : SLI Titan Xs @ 1442

Because: Had 2x 970s refunded them (3.5G Vram) and bought 2 980 HOF's then decided to get 4k (after using DSR) which really pushed 4GB so sold those and bought 2 Titan X's (could have gone with AMD but lost all faith with drivers)

Extras: Games I am currently playing are Witcher 3, GTA V, Project Cars, Assetto Corsa, Crysis 3, Arma 3, Dyling Light, Dirt Rally, GRID Autosport, BF4, Bioshock Infinite, Deus Ex, Metro Last Light

Resolution : 2560 x 1440
GPU/GPUs : 2x 290's @ 290x
Because : They were free (Thanks BTC :))
Extras: Games I am currently playing are Company of Heroes 2, Warthunder, GTA V, CS GO.
