GPU not working with mobo

Not 100% sure about this, there are reviews with oc results of the same model card as in stock (GV-R795WF3-3GD) and they mention increasing the core voltage to get it stable, but this may have changed and now be locked.

It will still oc without voltage adjustment, just depends how much overclocking you are looking for?
 
Yeah I looked a bit ago and I think all their newer models are voltage locked and id like a 7950 that isn't locked so I can oc it quite high for air cooled at least so would you say it would be better to get the asus 7950 instead of getting another msi one because they're the only two i know of that aren't voltage locked, thanks for the help again

I reckon its the card.

Reason being as I mentioned before theres been more than a handful of reports of these MSI ones being duff.
 
I would test in another pc before you send it back.

I thought mine was doa but then I tested in my other rig and it worked fine.


Also the gigabyte one your talking about is voltage locked but it has a high stock voltage.
