It's great for laundering money too. So yeah I guess it has some uses...Except it enables me to transfer money to and from another country in a fraction of the time and cost.

Who cares? You have all forced most of us out of the PC market for years to come with your purchase of double msrp cards meaning the msrp will be atlest 70% higher than it should be and you will all fall for the "smaller nodes cost more money" **** they will no doubt come out with.

Small minded people don't see the utility but that doesn't mean it isn't there.
Yeah but the banks won't accidentally lose all your money or get "hacked" and say, "ooops, it's all gone..."I'm even getting 4.5% interest on my bitcoin, compare with 0.1% on GBP
I though the expressions were:New people are born every day. The younger generation believe in it more than older generations. Therefore at some point in time be it 50 year or 100 years from now it will be 99.9% adoption rate with only folk living in sheds in woodlands or jungles no using crypto.
andthere's one born every day
But wait, you are trying to talk up the concept of crypto, right?a fool and his money are easily parted
Not directly. It is posted at anybody who has bought a card at even +50% the msrp.Is that aimed at me? You didn't quote me but posted this directly after my post?
Yeah but the banks won't accidentally lose all your money or get "hacked" and say, "ooops, it's all gone..."
And as you know that's happened multiple times with various cryptos...
I'm fairly sure that whatever the issues with modern banking, the answer isn't to create a system that's unquestionably worse in every conceivable way.Yes, there's totally never been any problems with banks, like it didn't cause a total global crisis or anything...

EDIT - and tbh I’m not arsed if they are bought for mining or not, if you buy them so much over msrp it hurts everyone eventually no matter what your reason. If all these fools who bought them scalping were left with 10s of thousand of pounds of debt they would be left out of this business for a very long time and would always have been afraid of it.

I did this with gold. Gold had been static for years so I finally gave up and sold it all....right before it climbed 600%.
Keep your eye on silver.
would have thought you'd be more of a pro guy![]()

Or someone whose ethics differs from your own. There is zero risk and easy money. Only a fool would think it's not worthwhile.

I don't like reselling, because it adds no value and in fact removes value, and the people profiting did not in any way contribute to bringing the product to market.
Of course I have no problems with people earning and spending their money how they like, that would be ridiculous. But certain things don't count as a proper job. Blackmailer, drug dealer, scammer, etc. You don't look at those people and say, "He's done really well for himself in his chosen profession."
I just want to point out that I never said any of those things. This is a huge over-simplification.You don't like buying either since you don't buy anything.
You don't like other people buying because it stops you from buying.
You don't like people having money to go on holidays because they have a better life than you.
You need to go out get your own place and get laid. Seriously your situation cannot be good from a mental health point of view.
What do you do with your money? It can't all be going on food and water.
