Most people will be mining alt coins and then trading them for BTC. You can then cash out some of the BTC and hold some as investment.Mining what though, BTC?

Cheers, I’ve downloaded and my PC is currently going through optimisation. I haven’t got a mega powerful graphics card, but if it does actually work, then I can consider upgrading. Got a mate with plenty of money who’s starting to look into all this as well. Might be able to persuade h8m to investGoogle Nicehash and go from there. You literally download a program and let it run.
Not the most efficient way as they take a cut but I'm happy with that for how easy it is.

I've directed my Vega64 towards Monero. I'll see how it goes for a month, mainly out of interest.
Monero is fairly low profit.
£4 a day on monero or £6-7 on OCUK community krb pool
Coolio. I'll take a look at the OcUK mining pool. I only chose Monero as I'd read Vega was good at Cryptonight.
We're mining KRB which is also Cryptonight, it's mining difficulty and price combo mean it pays betterCoolio. I'll take a look at the OcUK mining pool. I only chose Monero as I'd read Vega was good at Cryptonight.

miners arnt being singled out, i stated the points based on the conversation. i highly doubt all of the miners are using renewable energy either. yes they may be using the cheapest to maximise profits, but cheap usually means non renewable. adding to an already massive problem.
