GPU purchase timing

Hello all.

I'm looking to get a bfg 8800 gts g92 or a card around that spec. is this card being phased out as i cant find it for sale anywhere?

Will an equivalent card come out shortly or will it be more a case of the newer cards driving these mid range cards down?

I'm sure its anyone's guess but some advise would be nice.

I'm not completely desperate and can wait a couple of weeks.

You could have cut and paste that back in October 2007 when the 8800GT cards were coming out

Phased out I thought? The 9800GTX is essentially the same but more money

Froogle is your friend if you want want one but have to agree 95% of all retailers have no stock so guess there won't be many around for long.

ocuk used to have a much longer list of manufacturers than that.
