Hi, I have powercolor r9 290x which is heavy as hell and the sagging situation is worst and worst... I am really worried that it will eventually kill my pcie connector on my mobo. Is there any esthetically pleasing solution ?????

I use a couple of black zip ties on my R9 290 as well as routing the power cables from the top of the case.

I'm sure I saw a build on here where the guy just got some cheap carbon rod, like 6mm or something. He cut it to size to support his cards. Didn't look out of place :)

The priciest option is to get a case with a rotated motherboard - the Silverstone RV01/RV02/RV03/RV05/FT02/FT03 and probably some others. Because the GPU hangs straight down, you will never have to worry about GPU weight ever again. :D

If you don't fancy splashing out on a new case, then as others have suggested, either cables/wires/string/thread to hang it from above, or a block/rod cut to length to support from below.

Lego tower and prop it up, I did this with my sons 270x and its fine, and also kind of geeky.

We loves it!

As said lego if you've got it lying around, or you can get threaded nylon rod which should let you do something fairly easily (small block of wood or similar at the bottom of the case with a hole in it and a washer for the rod, then put the rod into place and adjust to suit).

My GTX 780 cards don't sag at all, but the R9 280X (Gigabyte Windforce OC) in my partners PC sags a bit. I just put a couple of cable ties around the PCIe cables and then attached them the upper drive bay cage. It does the trick and feels secure :)

Heres my Powerjack from Powercolour.. been using it for over 2 years now but i see OcUK dont sell them anymore, which is where i bought mine from. Was a tenner i think.

If I remember right, some people use fishing line, probably those with windows in the side panel as 2-3lb line would be pretty much invisible
