GPU 'Sagging' HELP!!!!!

I used a clear bic pen casing cut to size, the hexagonal light splitting effect looks rather nice.

Done that in the past too, and used a tube of deodorant, and a bent PCI-E blanking plate. :p

My Inno3d weighs the same as a Dachshund puppy but has a plate that hold the card in place that is screwed in with the card case brackets. It hold it tight without any sagging... Is this not an option for all heavy cards?

Was there somebody on here who used some cotton thread to keep it from sagging

Little bit of plastic pipe sprayed to colour match is all you need. You want to go even cheaper then those sturdy little tubes you get with sandwich bags are more than adequate for the job given how sturdy they are. Blu-tak and a pencil is also rock solid. This isn't a big issue. If any of you buy incense sticks then there's also a little tube within the outer box that'll do the job as well.

Damn these cards are overweight. They need to go on a diet haha! Got me thinking about the small form factor 390x rumours. I hope my build next month doesn't have this problem :s

Powercolour way back sold the Powerjack but it was too bulky, I do recall OcUK selling a better version recently but can't find it so I guess they don't sell it anymore, ask Gibbo about that since he's the GPU guy :)

Otherwise you'll just have to use cable ties or fishing line to support the PCI-E power cables on another card or tied to your drive cage, case roof, etc.

Seems to be the cards without a backplate or those shown here have a very thin backplate that lacks support of the PCB with the huge cooler on 3-slots or extended GPUs, never had issues with 2-slot GPUs as the PCI bracket provides all the support you need and length was reference.
