GPU Waterblock recommendations

Herro! Been building This machine for the past week or so, as my older E6600 was getting a bit useless for gaming.

However at present I'm still using my old ATI 4870HD card. I'll be purchasing a new card soon and will obviously add that to the WC loop. Can anyone recommend blocks for say an ATI 6970? By the time I get the GPU, they'll have dropped in price methinks.

I still have a spare 120.2 Rad here to supplement my triple one if needed.

EK FC6970. I'd get the nickel plexi one.

Whatever graphics card you get make sure it's a reference design.

Reference design cards are most likely to have a full cover block available.

I tried to take a pic direct from the koolance website of the gtx 480 block but I don't think I can link as they sell waterblock too, and the delrin block is the ek 580 one

take screenshot and use imageshack uploader?
Snipping ool is good if ur on win 7

I'll most likely run a separate loop for the GPU alone, as I have a spare RX240 rad and I may go SLI in future just for the sake of it. I aim to get a new GPU just before BF3 ships anyway.

keep it in one loop. Makes no difference to temps

just get the cheapest full cover block you can find, you wont see it anyway as its on the underside of the card, being an old card you should be able to find one very cheap. I got water blocks for my 480's for £28 each

after a quick google search found a place selling a full cover block for ur card for £22
