GR:AW Screenies

There is & it does look good, not sure if it's quite worth the £200 odd yet though;)

Edit: Here it is :)

Does look good with the extra physics provided for by the card. However I agree not enough to be worth £200 atm. Plus - can't help but think that this could have been done utilising a little bit of magic from the immense CPU's we all seem to have in our machines nowadays. I am not an expert though so... maybe not.

Ive got it on the 360.. and i cant really say what looks best to be honest..

I like the guns on the pc version, but the xbox you get the man which is very nice.. they both seem to have their positives and negatives.

I played it on 360 and i would say these Screenshots look much better.

This is looking really good, any idea on when the demo will be out?

All I can say about the PysX is......meh! Wow, a few extra bits flying around for 200 quid  I'm sure they can get exactly the same on a normal CPU, its just a gimmick so you have to buy the PPU if you want your games to look good.

yeah i dont think ill be spending £200 on one. Although that Cell video i saw did look pretty impressive. Was it Cell? something like that
Its called Cellfactor, but I thiink this coudl be done well on a normal computer, just that companies wasnt more money, just like how Doom 3runs better on Nvidia and HL2 better on ATI, i don't like all of this rubbish!

I only stuff I've read from official sources:

'GRAW PC and consoles are two completely different games, since the expectations from PC gamers are different from their consoles homologues. We did not focus on direct action as it was the case on consoles but, once again, more on a strategic and tactical aspect. Planning will be a key aspect of the PC version. The more you prepare your attack the more it has the chance to succeed! Beside that, players will discover a new interface, unique features specially designed for the PC such as the ‘Air strike’ command or a mod system allowing creating a large number of weapons’ combinations'

:)

I wish they did that for COD2..

the configs for controls still have stuff from XBOX 360 controllers left behind :/

The developers (GRIN) & UBI have said that there will be a demo released & it will have online co-op as well as SP, but they are being very quiet about the actual release.
GRIN are taking the game to that i27 thing this weekend & inviting people to play against them, so I reckon (hope) it'll come out soon after that:)

Mate, sorry to go a bit off-topic, but your sig....where do you et it from? I see them on a lot of peoples sigs and I really want one !
thanks!
I searched high and low but couldn't find them :/

That cellfactor thing looked amazing, although I have absolutely no idea how you'd control that with a Pc :/

Are the ghost recon games any good as tactical shooters? I've been meaning to try something a little more cereberal than FEARr/BF2.
The original GR & the 2 expansion packs were very good on PC. The console versions (GR2 & GR:AW) are less tactical but then they're aimed at a different market. The PC version of GR:AW is different to the console versions again & the emphasis is based more on tactics (but not at the expense of action), apparently you won't complete missions without decent planning & equipping:)
