I like the guns on the pc version, but the xbox you get the man which is very nice.. they both seem to have their positives and negatives.
Its called Cellfactor, but I thiink this coudl be done well on a normal computer, just that companies wasnt more money, just like how Doom 3runs better on Nvidia and HL2 better on ATI, i don't like all of this rubbish!ScarySquirrel said:yeah i dont think ill be spending £200 on one. Although that Cell video i saw did look pretty impressive. Was it Cell? something like that
OzZie said:Thats only because nvidia are better at OGL than ATi and vice versa for D3D.

'GRAW PC and consoles are two completely different games, since the expectations from PC gamers are different from their consoles homologues. We did not focus on direct action as it was the case on consoles but, once again, more on a strategic and tactical aspect. Planning will be a key aspect of the PC version. The more you prepare your attack the more it has the chance to succeed! Beside that, players will discover a new interface, unique features specially designed for the PC such as the ‘Air strike’ command or a mod system allowing creating a large number of weapons’ combinations'
The developers (GRIN) & UBI have said that there will be a demo released & it will have online co-op as well as SP, but they are being very quiet about the actual release.ScarySquirrel said:This is looking really good, any idea on when the demo will be out?

Are the ghost recon games any good as tactical shooters? I've been meaning to try something a little more cereberal than FEARr/BF2.
The original GR & the 2 expansion packs were very good on PC. The console versions (GR2 & GR:AW) are less tactical but then they're aimed at a different market. The PC version of GR:AW is different to the console versions again & the emphasis is based more on tactics (but not at the expense of action), apparently you won't complete missions without decent planning & equippingTrip Hazard said:Are the ghost recon games any good as tactical shooters?
