Graduation clothes?

A black shirt is just....no. That tie is also a complete disaster. The entire outfit is tasteless and looks cheap. The belt buckle is the nail in the coffin.

If you want a plain shirt, stick with white. Not cream, white. I'm not even going to start with saying what is wrong with the tie in the picture but believe me, do not wear that. If you want orange in the tie, you can still have a bold orange which does not look cheap. Consider an orange tie with a fine white spot. Orange isn't an ideal colour but I suppose it could still look fine if you didn't buy a cheap tie from the usual culprits like Next and Debenhams.

If you post a picture of your suit it would make recommendations much eaasier.
 
Here's what I went for at my gradation last month:

You can't quite see the subtle blue detailing on the green tie as the photo is slightly over saturated, but you get the idea.

That looks decent... I think I have changed my mind about grey suit and dark green shirt... lol!
