Watching that has made me realise just how much I'm actually looking forward to this game, I think there's been more than enough years now that have passed since GT3: A-Spec was released for me to really get into this come release day (I never could get into GT4 as it came so soon after GT3)

Thanks for that.

It is pretty incredible how they make their games look so realistic.

Its a close call between the two videos of the 458. The GT5 one has the better graphics but the FM3 vid beats it on style i think.:D

Wow, excellent video. Really looking forward to it now :).

Anyone know the audio track from that tribute?

EDIT:

Just One Second (Apex Remix) - London Elektricity

Played GT up till 3 i think imo the first one will always be the best, then bought an xbox and when to forza..

now have a PS3 and cant wait for this game

That is a stunning video!

PD's production values (clearly not all of that is in-game, most likely in-engine) are totally first rate.. A lot of dev houses can learn a lot from them.

Two more days and all should be revealed.. :D

Their edge is with the realistic 'sun' type lighting. The top down view with the sun reflecting is great.

The rest is just camera work and setting the mood. Still, very well produced. Will be getting GT5 and a PS3 for sure.

gfx is nice... but if i can win a race by battering all the cpu cars in the first lap and then wafting arond at my own pace again afterwards ill be a little dissapointed..

You couldnt do that in GT5P when you got to the higher levels, you soon got penalised.

Anyway Find out more goodness Thurs monring/Weds night at TGS.

Is that ingame graphics? Surely not?

It does use the same engine as you will find in Gran Turismo 5, however they apply some serious post processing and filters that are not possible in real time. That said, it's still impressive, and the game won't look 'too' far off.

Looks fantastic as usual, although I hope they sort out the ingame aliasing, one thing that really detracts from the overall look of the game, GT5P looked great but the aliasing on cars does annoy me.

I'm 99% sure GT5 will look better than Forza, how it plays, knowone knows yet. I found Forza 2 quite 'dull' to play, the tracks were bland and the car models weren't spectacular but looks like they have really gone all out this time so Forza will be a day one purchase and so will GT just because GT3 is still probably my most played console game by myself :D
