Free 'Spec III' Update, Adding New Tracks, Cars, and Various New Features Coming This December!​

The Gran Turismo series has now sold over 100 million units. To celebrate this achievement, we will be releasing 'Spec III', a significant update for Gran Turismo 7. New tracks, new cars, and a variety of new features are on the way. Look forward to the start of a new adventure!

Gran Turismo 7 'Spec III' Update Content​

・2 new tracks (Yas Marina Circuit, Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve)
・8 new cars
・'Dunlop' tyres
・Data Logger
・Collector Level cap increased
・Unlimited car invitations in Brand Central
・Enhanced Weekly Challenges
・New opening movie
・New Menu Book 'Seasonal Menu'
・New events in 'Circuit Experience'
・New Curations in 'Scapes'
・Improvements to online races

Personally can't wait, just got the CMP2 for PSVR2 and loving driving all the cars, looking around the cockpits at the smallest details, it's brilliant.

I'm looking forward to it. That'll make a change from all the SUV's they have been adding recently. It's also good to see some more real-world tracks.
 
So.. I cant believe I finally managed to get every single car in GT7, after many years of playing this game :D

I don't think I've ever played a game continuously as I have done with GT7. And with the upcoming Spec 3 and Power Pack... fantastic game :)
 
Just got the ps5 physical version from Argos for £30 and had to clear some space on the drive, hoping 140GB free will be enough!
 
Im tempted to try again, apart from spec 3 update, has anything else changed since late 22? Really didnt enjoy it, hated the bland / easy curated single player / collecting nonsense and gave up, is it worth picking GT7 up again?

I mean the single player has always been a bit bland and I guess that’s not going to change. For me this is an online racer and one of the best of its kind. If you’re not into that then I don’t think you’re going to get any more out of it.
 
Absolutely nothing has changed in terms of the base game.

The new Power Pack DLC offers something 'different' for £25 but I'm not convinced it's much better.
 
Had some fun playing the Power Pack DLC this evening - makes a nice change doing the whole practice / qualifying / race loop rather than starting from the back of the pack in every race. Need to get used to the "feel" of motion in this game again though after countless hours in Forza.

Talked myself out of it, I did like GT Sport (online) just got tired of it, when I had 7, it just felt pretty similar (inc the same weekly combo x50) my feeling at the time was it should have been a paid update / expansion, guess I still haven’t shaken that feeling off.

But I am missing some sort of driving / racing game.
 
Tsukuba online time trial is killing me. Why does it have stupid SM tyres!

Best is 59.632 and need 59.620 for silver. Anyone else feel an unhealthy rage. Got silver on the other two time trials easy enough...
