Gran Turismo Style Games

Meh, may as well tell you what I did, bought a PS2 off a auction site w/ every single Gran Turismo game, when I am done with them I will probably just softmod it and ehm, play my backups...

Might give GT5 a shot on the PS3 once I am done, shame this series never came to PC. However, looking forward to Grid 2, one was awesome.

Shift 2 isn't that close to GT5 IMO, key difference is GT5 upgrade system is really good and actually makes a difference to your competitiveness, in Shift2 it is a complete waste of time as the AI cars get scaled up based on what you are driving.

I always wondered why Microsoft didn't bring the Forza series to PC, they'd of been perfect.

The exclusive game selection on Xbox has always been poor compared to PlayStation, so games like Forza going to PC would make the Xbox even less appealing. The combination of a Sony console and a gaming PC would be all you ever need to get you through a generation of games. Personally, I think this is still the case. There are simply never enough reasons to get an Xbox when I have a PC, whereas there are always many reasons to get a PlayStation. I'm looking forward to what MS have to show in a couple of weeks, but they're going to have to pull something really special out of the bag if they want to change my plans.
