Graphics card dying?

Does anyone know how long it takes for an RMA to MSI? I sent them a message through there online customer service but it appears no one has looked at it yet.

Try calling them if possible

I read something on the net about it taking 2 - 3 weeks to RMA an item with MSI, although I assume that means once it's been received.

Bit of an update, well I say update, still waiting for a reply. I may just be being impatient but there customer service seems really slow. I've sent messages to both Uk support and using the global online customer service. I've tried ringing them and the phone just rang and rang until I gave up. I don't wish to bash them to much as I'm still waiting for an advance replacement of my motherboard.

lol, I doubt that they'll see your bashing posts on OcUK, track down your IP and hunt you down/refuse RMA!!! :D

Be patient, I still haven't heard anything from Gigabyte and it's been 6 working days :(
 
Finally got the ball rolling on this, thanks to ScottiB on here providing me with the correct email address. Have to say that customer services were very quick with the replies, only taking about 30 minutes between emails. So it should be on its way later on today to The Netherlands.
 
Had a reply back from MSI regarding my faulty 5850. Their offering to exchange it with a 5850 Twin Frozr II. Good result? Only issue I'm slightly worried about is noise. Is the Twin Frozr cooler quiet?

uhhh, kinda lol i had a twin frozr 2 560Ti and it was kinda loud but it didnt really get hot enough to go 100% because of how cool it ran :P
 
Received the new card today. Installed it, turned the computer on and instantly hear tick, tick, tick, tick from the fans :rolleyes: Sent MSI another email to see what they can do.
 
Right then, MSI have replied and they are now offering to pick up the card I received and replace it with a 6850. Now I haven't kept up with the latest generation so is that a fair deal. Is the 6850 as good as or better than the 5850?
 
Had a look around and it seems the 6850 is a tiny bit slower than a 5850. Anyone think I should push for a 6870? Bearing in mind they have been very good so far.
 
Had a reply back and their asking me for reviews that show that the 6850 is slower than the 5850. Specifically R6850-PM2D1GD5 vs 5850 Twin Frozr II. Having a little bit of trouble finding them so any help would be great.
 
Been offered a 6870 Twin Frozr II OC now. Think I'll accept that as it is a bit quicker than a 5850. Have to say that MSI have been very good.
 
Received the replacement card this morning. Opened the box to be greeted with a 6850 :confused: Pretty sure I agreed to the 6870. Fired off another email to MSI :rolleyes:
