Graphics card dying?

Received the 6950 earlier. Its a very nice looking card but I'm finding the fans a bit noisy, even if I manually set them to their lowest speed. So, I'm wondering if I would be able to fit an aftermarket cooler on it. I was thinking the Thermalright Shaman? I've got a Trad2 GTX but that doesn't fit as the heatpipes don't curl up enough to go over some capacitors.

But, haven't you got the twin frozer III? That is a third party cooler?

Just use MSI Afterburner and create a fan template. It is probably running at 50% speed.

There card should also have a switch which you can use to switch in between fan speeds I believe?

Yeah I have got the Twin Frozr III. Its more that the fans are quite buzzy which I find really irritating. I set it to 20% in CCC which did make it quieter but it was still making a buzzing sound.

Stop complaining man.:) You've ended up with a card that's miles better than the one you bought. Surely that's a result.
