Depends, what do you want to do with it?![]()
Well, it is a decent card if not gaming what are you looking to do with it?
Should be fineCertainly meets minimum spec for photoshop CS5 as far as i can tell. As for Microsoft Word....well..i wouldnt worry
With photoshop i believe you'll get more out of better cpu/memory than gpu, so if you're meeting the minimum spec i imagine you'll be fine..
My spec below , had for 3 years seems o.k . . . I was thinking could i get faster memory ?
Dell Inspiron 1720 T7500 @ 2.20GHz
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium
Seagate 500GB X 2 7200 RPM
4096MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM
17.0" UltraSharp™ Wide Screen WUXGA (1920x1200)
nVidia® GeForce™ Go 8600M GT with 256MB DDR2
Faster memory? Dunno how far you could go there or how effective it would be. Might be worth a post in GH on the viability, but i wouldnt hold out too much hope.
That sounds like quite a nice little spec there, has it been performing badly or something?
