True , leave well alone.
Untill you have a large offence and use the combat sim. first.

i attacked an oasis with 8 spiders, 5 snakes and 3 bats i think it was with 20 teuton maceman (i did not use combat simulator)
End result..... 8 casualities
and about 450 resources. defin not worth it!

and he seems to be high ranked so i dont see too much problems from them.I hope so.

Guys, I need some advice on defense. What I was going to do was keep my spearmen and mace/axemen numbers roughly even. Spearmen suck royally against infantry though so I need insane numbers to have a good defense.
I'm considering simply churning axemen out until I have the resources to train paladins. This might take a while though. If I do attacked in this "defenseless" period, I will hopefully never have troops to kill nor resources to steal. Say I know I won't be at my PC for 8+ hours, I will send all my troops to a noob village which is a 8 hour round-trip and spend all my resources. All I'm open to in this period is siege attacks but that's unlikely to happen.
What do you guys think? I would really appreciate some advice. As long as I'm active and careful, surely the latter is the better option?

Im only going to send 6 invites atm as i dont know how big Goose's Embassy is. When he gets back he will upgrade + send more invites.
Meanwhile, if your name isnt on the list, msg Goose via travian (or post here - but risk it getting burried in randomness)
