i'm affraid i'm weak and puny at 43 population and feeling vulnerable with only 1 defending liegionare and a level 1 wall to protect me.

I looked in there, but it was empty.

I could see a use for it where there are lots of people in one area, but for people out on their own, it's of limited use. If there is a cluster of you though, it could be a useful way of sharing resources and comparing info on targets/enemies.

what do I do, just keep upgrading the cranny ?

when do I get to build some troops?

I've got 460 units hidden in the cranny,

if it's a teuton attacking make sure you have less than 2/3 of each resource of your cranny's capacity and if you have any troops send them off to raid another village when the attack arrives and you should be fine.

if you can't spend your resources send them to someone in the alliance who can send them back when the attack is over.

Sign me up! I've just been raped and pillaged by someone in the the Power A! alliance, took 200 of each of my resources

21 Macemen they had, I've only just come out of n00b protection and had none!

Its kinda my own fault really, he sent a scout when my troops were out (he had a lower population than me) so i sent him a mail something like "omfg i am sooo gonna pwn you for that" to try and scare him off from attacking me. :/ didnt really work.

it doesn't say who is attacking, just when... :confused:

cranny is now at 600 units, do resources get automatically hidden then ?
I can't tell what is hidden or not.

I guess I can't send resources till I've built an embassy ?

tried that, it just take me to the village screen :confused:

just looked up cranny:
"The amount of resources protected is per resource. This means that if your cranny says it protects 1000 resource, understand that it protects 1000 each of wood/clay/iron/crop. "

so if my cranny = 600 units,
and all of my resouces are below 600, them I'm OK ?
