****Great Deals on DELL Laptops at OcUK*****

Those are very good prices. I got my folks a Dell 13z for Christmas last year and it's a great laptop, well built with a great spec and very light.

Nice price on the CULV one, been looking for one similar for a while for a relative. They're a business user and something like that would be nearly perfect, shame it's not 12 or 13" though as they're looking for portability and battery life but I don't want to land them with an Atom netbook, hence I've been browsing the CULV ranges.

The 14" is small. ;)

I shall see if I can find any open box deals on the 12" and 13" models though. :)

In my opinion I think that the 14" screen is the best size to be usable. 13" is really hard to use if you wanna see more than one window.

If only windows had multiple desktops like linux/bsd/OSX.

First class idiot you are sir!,welcome to ignore

And for the record i spend a lot of money here and buy 99% of my hardware here ,im far from complaining at ocuk

Lighten up mate he was obviously joking.

Anyways, these look like a fantastic deal. If the Dell 14z had come out in the UK a year ago when I was searching for a laptop I would have bought one. I'm a big fan of CULV processors as for me laptop battery life is everything followed by weight, then screen quality. For me performance is irrelevant in a laptop, I have a PC for that.

As it is I opted for a Macbook Pro as despite the price they are imo peerless.

I agree the 14" is a great size, but when you start commuting and want to whip it out on the train (the laptop that is), then the extra couple of inches add up quick. My Mini 311c that OcUK sell is the perfect size IMO for that (11.6"), plus it's for a woman so smaller and lighter is a big plus (and before someone says anything that's not a sexist comment, it's a genuine factor to take into account, she doesn't want to haul a beast around!)
I'd almost be tempted to get her a Mini 311c and whack in a C300 but it's just the Atom holding me back. Hmm...a trip to PC world might be in order just to remind myself what a 14" screen actually looks like in real life.
