Was that Coleman taking that free kick then? Absolutely moronic, commentators saying he was trying to get the game restarted quickly but looked more like he was trying to kick the ball at the player stood in front of the ball?

it’s both, Everton didn’t start playing until they went 2 down..
I assume Rafa told them all sit deep and hit them on the counter.

they played well against arsenal, but shocking for the most part today.

Looked like he was trying to get Schlupp booked for not retreating, backfired big time

His home is Liverpool and his family live there and call it home. I am sure his goal was to make it successful.

I know that but I don't he's silly enough to expect to turn Everton into world beaters with only £1.7m transfer budget, if he wasn't aware that he'd be under pressure from the 1st loss then he really did underestimate the absolute hatred most Everton fans have for anything slightly linked to Liverpool, look at the noise made by Everton fans before a ball was even kicked, he ended up with a banner outside (what some fans thought was his) his house ffs.
