Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [11th - 15th February 2023]

I’m so done with these people in the VAR room.
I said they had messed up when you posted that first pic not long after it happened. Bloody joke we can tell from a crappy tweet picture yet the trained refs and people doing var are making errors every week.

I’m glad you put the word “some“ there, most of us know exactly where we should be
Aye and I’m one of them.

I’m already buzzed for the season to get a final. Top 10 would be great on top.

Personally I think Europe next season would stretch us too thin.

Now I'm normaly a glass half full person but I'm not afraid to call a **** poor performance.

Which yesterday was. Little worried that we got the amazon camera curse!!!!!

Could be worse. I normally used to poke my head into the Liverpool thread to do a bit of trolling but there's quite a few unhinged members in there atm

Just watching MOTD. Think it's fair to say VAR has screwed us over regardless of how well Brentford played. Don't even think it was a free kick leading up to it.

This is why the sooner VAR becomes automatic the better. I am sure there is plenty of bias in those VAR rooms. Both for and against. The way they singled out Casemiro last week was exactly the same. It is absolutely impossible to be impartial unless you fill VAR rooms with people who hate football or from other countries.

But this was a black and white situation that they completely ignored.

With the money in the PL its astonishing the number of mistakes they are making. Thats what galls people. Their team gets a goal chalked off due to a very very marginal offside and then in the same game it will miss some bloody obvious decisions. People can put up with errors, mistakes and what not when its human error in the heat of the moment but its very hard to accept the mistakes that are happening every week when there is zero excuse.

The fact that the league always supports their referees and doubles down on their mistakes is always fun as well. That Casemiro got sent off when his was the more minor infraction in the scuffle was silly. The fact that United are now in more trouble than Palace as a result of VARs mistake is just comical.

People don't expect perfect but they expect competent and they expect consistent.
