Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [12th - 15th August 2022]

20/21 vibes here. Players dropping like flies and we've battered Palace here and should be a couple of goals up, only to concede from their only attempt.

Abysmal half.

The football was so pedestrian, the movement was worse than usual and we had no attacking game plan other than smash long ball after long ball.
Not sure that's fair, we were very good for the first 15 or so. We've lost our way since they scored though, and it's been trickier since they've sat even deeper

Issue we have is like I said before the match, we've got a really weak bench. You look at that bench and with the exception of Carvalho there doesnt look to be anyone on there who is going to turn a match for you.

If Diaz doesn't do something by the 60th minute I'd give Carvalho 30 minutes but Henderson on for Fabinho at HT. He's been the main reason we're playing so slow, he's taking an age on the ball.

It's all relative.
I thought it was pretty good save for the last third where it hasn't quite worked. Movement is good up front and the full backs create a lot. Especially Trent. I think Milner and Fabinho are canny players but not the most creative and it looks like Elliot is their legs. You've created a fair few chances and it's a matter of time before something sticks. Palace do look like they could hit again on the break as Liverpool press harder. When you watch the tripe United serve up each week this is a rare treat!

Sometimes Klopps substitutions are mental, its definitely the weakest part of his management. He'll probably end up keeping Fab and Milner on and take off Elliott for Keita.
