It’s not the length of the ban for me, but more the equivalence of it to other 3 game bans. Someone just pulling someone back when they’re the last man gets the same ban as someone who nuts a player square in the face. Seems strange.

They don't get the same ban though. Denying a goalscoring opportunity (or getting 2 yellows) only results in a 1 match ban. It's only violent conduct or serious foul play that get 3 match bans.

Nope, straight red is one match ban. Two if it's dissent and 3 or more for violent conduct
