It's unbelievable how we've gone from a top 10 team to useless

Trent is absolutely ridiculous when on form / in this position.
He's better than he ever looked as a "classic" right back, and at his best he was very good then.

What I don't understand is why Klopp took so long to make the change. It was screamingly obvious months ago. All we had to do was copy Arsenal and City, and Trent is the perfect player for that role.

I don't follow them that closely but it seems that lack on investment has caught up with them. That defence is weak. Faes, hmm don't like the look of him and Johnny Evans must be like 35. He wasn't good enough at 25. Ndidi hasn't kicked on after looking a great player and Teilemans is anonymous when things aren't going well. I also just looked at the bench and it is one of the weakest in the league. For me Rodgers deserved the chance to get them out of it. Imagine what the squad thought when they were told Dean Smith was joining?
I liked Leicester but this league is brutal and they have stood still for 2/3 seasons.

Yeah I agree with this.

Vardy ageing and losing Kasper in the dressing room was also massive imo, but the failure to replace them with leaders was the real problem.

Really odd situation for the owners, of course - given the helicopter crash you can understand them losing a bit of interest, but it's sad to see given the amazing times there under Vichai

It doesnt help that a lot of their team are out of contract in the summer so dont really have anything to play for. Makes little difference to a lot of them.
