I hope so too, but more so they both have to keep playing and beat the other teams down in the relegation dog fight rather than fielding their reserves and giving teams a hand.
 
We will likely finish the season with one of, if not our highest points total ever having not even been able to scrape a poverty European spot last season. The huge improvement won‘t be enough and for it not to be a one-horse race you basically need to be close to 100 points these days. We tried!

Even if we finish 2nd this year we will compete for the title again next year

They will sign another quality cb to go with saliba and gabriel and get someone like rice in to bolster the midfield

The future is still really strong
 
No one but ourselves to blame for that, we get way too comfortable at 2-0 up and the defence just hasn't been good enough to hold off teams like earlier in the season. Saliba is a big loss on that front. Thought it was a mistake to sub Jesus off instead of Saka, the latter has been a bit iffy after his illness. Oh well still our title to lose, it would be hilarious after all the doom and gloom lately if we just go and get a win at City. Hopefully we nicked a few inhalers from Anfield.
