Every time Villa have gone down their left they've looked like scoring - Newcastle's right hand side haven't got close to Villa all game.

this goes down as a bad day at the office, one thing I have noticed though when we play teams the have pace and play on the shoulder of the defender, we then struggle as our back 4 isn’t blessed with pace, a priority has to be a quick right center back and left back in the summer.

Still surprised me after the last few games, its like watching pre-Eddie Newcastle again.
 
Would have taken 5 points out of the 3 consecutive away games, so to get 6 is good going in the grand scheme of things. Totally out classed today though and our lack of pace at the back showed. thankfully you don’t play players with pace like Watkins every week.

Would be interesting to see how the table would look since he took over. He is currently trending a 60% win rate with Villa although a lot of big games coming up. If he gets into Europa he has a chance for Manager of the season for me.
 
Newcastle were very poor today. Absolutely nowt in midfield and Mcgin and Watkins ran riot. Substuitions offered nothing. Completely outplayed in almost every part of the pitch. I am still yet to see what Howe sees in Gordon. I didn’t think the game was gone at half time but they let them run with it. Disappointing but points haul over the last few weeks can’t be too upset with.

Got the pick of the games tonight given the kinder time difference. Chose Everton Fulham. Cracker so far.
