Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [16th-19th Oct 2020]

Not sure if intentionally brexity but it already happens lot and not just foreign players lol

Yeah but its one of those things, like feigning being injured that has its roots in continental football rather than English football. I want less of it, from all players, rather than an increase in it and only way to reduce it is with a firm NO whenever it occurs

VAR should be ashamed of themselves not giving Pickford a red for that, it's a disgraceful challenge, could have folded VVD's leg in half.

Yeah, utterly baffling. If you made a challenge like that anywhere else you would be off in a second and not a single person would be arguing it. Keepers get far far far too much leeway when it comes to decking players. I'm amazed that keepers leading with studs and their knees flying hasn't resulted in a bad injury.

Yet if you practically ruffle a Keepers hair it's a foul!

Hendo, Thiago and Mane have been amazing so far but we should be well ahead. Hopefully VVD hasn't been badly injured, looked like he was walking ok so perhaps just badly bruised.

Serious flaw in the laws that allows Pickford to get away with that challenge on VVD. For those blaming VAR, there's nothing they can do - as soon as it's offside then, unless its violent conduct, anything that happens after no longer exists.

As for the game, we've been the better side and should be ahead. If we keep playing like that we should go on to win.

Edit: although Peter Walton seems to disagree with Dale Johnson.
