Watch the Leno injury again. That contact doesn't cause the fall. He exaggerates the contact to get a foul and card. That's what causes the injury imo

Its always funny when players try to exaggerate contact or a foul and injure themselves in the process.

If if he didn't, the player didn't deserver a card for it. Minimal contact and that sort of thing happens probably 50 times a game. Very few players try to get a card from it and even fewer players get injured from it. I think Neymar might have injured himself a few times from his theatrics but thats to be expected.

If you want to talk about keepers and injuries we should be talking about how some keepers come flying out to collect the ball with their knee and boot stuck out in front of them when they catch it. Thats dangerous.

I think it's a bit of stretch to suggest Leno was trying to get Maupay in trouble. As the commentators said at the time, it seemed like he was aware that he was going to carry the ball outside the box and was trying to get his feet down quickly. I don't think it was the most outrageous thing for Maupay to go for the ball/put pressure on Leno and nine times out of ten the keeper would be fine in that situation, it was just unlucky.

If you're an Arsenal fan the worry must be that the most fight and passion they showed yesterday was in the post-match scrap with Brighton. I honestly don't have a clue how Arsenal get back to being serious top four and trophy contenders, they seem to lurch from one calamity to the next at the moment. You honestly could put any manager in the world in charge and unless he was given decent money to spend he would probably fail.

We are used to it now. We've been in decline ever since Kroenke took over.

Yeah he's crap, he's a special kind of striker... one that doesn't score goals.

1 in 29 games? That's hilariously bad, how does he keep getting a game? You can't tell me there isn't anyone else on Newcastle's books who can score at a better ratio than that.

He was hardly prolific in a gash standard so its not surprising he can't hit a cow's arse with a banjo at this level.
