So who would be the best manager for arsenal? The manager is not the problem. The board need to put the money we're there mouth is.

Question for all.

What would guadiola or klopp do with this arsenal side.

Nothing... It would be the same. Maybe a bit better but same crap.

Now what does that tell you?
I think his point was more that Arteta will jump from the sinking ship rather than Arsenal need a better manager :p

they would spend 12-24 months clearing out the entire squad because they're all awful. They would then bring in players that fit their style of play. dont have to be great players, an average player who can play in a system is better than a superstar who cant

Obviously Maupay shouldn't have pushed him, but it happens all the time, no intent to hurt him.

The Arsenal players are just embarrassing.

Most two footed challenges there is no intent to injure either, yet they're constantly punished. Its dangerous play. I say the same thing above shoves in the back when people are in the air, its dangerous play.

By the time Maupay launched himself at Leno the ball wasn't even there to be played, he was trying to put one on the keeper.

I don't see it like a two footed challenge, the two footed challenge by its very nature is to hurt someone. He just went for a ball and jumped into the keeper. Not saying it's a great thing to do, but far from the worst thing you'll see in most games.

I honestly feel he didn't go for the ball, I think he went for the keeper.

A player that pulls another player's shirt isn't going for the ball, nor is a player that trips the opposition player. Intent doesn't matter, in fact I'd guess that the majority of red card challenges don't have any intent. The decision the ref has to make is whether a challenge has been made with excessive force that's likely to cause an injury. You can say it was a needless challenge but it's not like he's launched himself into Leno and absolutely flattened him. It was just unfortunate. You could repeat that situation 100 times and Leno wouldn't be injured again. I'd go as far as to say we probably see 4 or 5 similar challenges every game, with attackers/defenders going up for a header and the opposition player just jumps into them to stop them getting a clean header.

Arsenal have spent plenty of money. How much was Pepe?

That wouldn't be Klopps side. He'd never sign the tripe you lot have lol.

Edit. I get your point now sorry. I don't think there's slot Arteta can do but he's made some odd calls imo. Not picking Ozil in the 20 one game then on the bench the next? Why?

Arsenal need a complete overhaul which unfortunately for you guys I just can't see.

Lovely volley from Neto, might be a better strike than Chilwell earlier that.

Comparing Liverpool and Arsenal's signings since Klopp arrived is depressing, have you signed a single flop/poor player under him? Karius maybe?
