Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [18th - 20th October 2022]

Strangish half. Our build up play has been pretty sharp and we've got into a lot of areas to create big chances but so many times the ball just hasn't really fell for us. Nunez has been exceptional. His 4 attempts have been from a total xg of less than 0.5 and he's scored, hit the post and forced the keeper into a great save - the goals are going to start to flow very soon. The left handside of the team is a bit concerning - Kostas keeps going walkabouts and Carvalho's given up possession a few too many times. I wouldn't be surprised to see Robertson on at some point in the 2nd half.

Utd should have just let Ronaldo go tbf

If he was willing to go and take a salary cut somewhere I'm sure he could have.

Spurs playing with a back 6. Hoping for a long ball for Kane or Son.

Welcome to Spurs under Conte. Its OK though because they might win something playing depressing football. I don't understand how Spurs fans can put up with this after watching Spurs under Poch relatively recently.

Ronaldo return and the timing off it just didn't make sense to me either.

Marketing. The number of United fans who still fawn over him shows you exactly why they did it. If you think about United as a brand more than a club you can understand many of their decisions better.

FFS Rashford.

Spurs are going to go into obscurity in the next couple of seasons when Kane's and Sons legs go. Bar those two their entire team is average.
