Well, ten Hag just has to get them set up to stay in this match or not go to pieces if we lose an early goal (or two). Ironically Solskaer managed this in big games a few times. It wasn't pretty but ensured that we weren't humbled. After the Spurs hammering at OT when Martial was sent off we actually had a period of being much more resolute albeit with McFred or Fratic clogging up the midfield. This is a big test for the manager. Can he elicit any sort of response from these players? If he can't then it should convince him to get rid of a few more.
Liverpool created quite a lot of chances vs Palace so I don't think their form is that bad. However, if ten Hag can neutralise the full backs that goes a long way to stopping that chance creation. Not much was coming from Fabinho, Milner or the young lad Elliot.
