It's always good to beat Liverpool but I'm not getting carried away. Hopefully it's something to build on. Under Ole we had some great performances also, let's not forget.

I think he was a better captain than Maguire but I still find him incredibly wasteful with possession. He worked very hard defensively but well short of the form he showed a year or so ago. A little more care with the ball would be most welcome.

Its almost like its really stupid and isn't some grand political statement. Just trying to wind up the Liverpool fans which is what they would be doing to the United fans if they had won.
As bad as it can be for large spells of that game. To get outworked by this Utd side takes some doing.
We've got to get back to the basics and putting the hard yards in but something has to change down our right hand side too. It was a problem at the start of last season too. It gives us something different in attack but having Elliott (or Henderson) almost playing like a right winger leaves us so exposed in that channel.

First goal was avoidable if Dijk did well anything.
Milner is had ago at him and right to do so. 2nd was another fail of pressing.
We didn't deserve anything, carvalho was brought on far too late, did make some change when he did.
At best all this 3 games has shown me is we will be in a top 4 battle at most on assumption we start to click or do anything

Takeaways from the game:
McTominay is still awful.
Rashford is still awful for 95% of the time.
Elanga has about 70% of what it takes to be a good footballer but his finishing and decision making is awful.
Varane and Martinez are a good CB pairing going forwards. If we get a good RB we should be quite solid with Casemiro in front.
Fernandes needs more time and space than some teams will give him and he doesn't know when to play it simple. Nearly cost us a few times today holding onto it too long.
Was nice to see Ronaldo on the bench until the 85th minute.
As nice as it is to beat Liverpool, it wouldn't have been unfair to finish as a draw. Still a lot of work for EtH to do.
Oh and I nearly won £371 from a £5 free bet.
Eriksen didn't get a shot on target, apparently corners don't count. And Salah didn't get 2 shots on target all game.
