YEah I thought he made the most of it. He was hardly faultless in the build up. Shoves one player to the ground, leaves a late one on Dacoure and then grabs his jersey. No excuses but I do feel like Dacoure was trying to shake off Kanes grip on his jersey but end up whacking him in the face. Anyway, pleased with the result but really if you are a Spurs fan you must be apoplectic with the attitude of the team when they are ahead in matches and can't close out the game.

I was expecting it to be a Neymar special with no contact. Clear red card. Kane’s job is to help the team win. Unfortunately the modern game has become like this as it helps get decisions in your team favour.
We can’t even consistently punish divers with no contact, so this will continue. VAR reviews showing simulation should be the exception for allowing yellow cards to be given. Might stop the sticking a leg out and hoping for some contact.

I don't think we played that bad tbf. Had our chances in the first half along with Spurs, Hell of a goal by Keane to give us the draw.
Doucoure had to go, while I don't think the intent was there to strike Harrys face, Doucoure should not have reacted like he did.
Kane certainly gets a 10/10 for simulation, but unfortunately it's now part of the game to roll around on the floor at the slightest touch.

Can't believe Villa are 9th... If we can beat Leicester tonight then we go 7th and if Brighton and Liverpool can't scrape more then a point we'll be 6th... Insane considering the start we had this season.

A good manager, in Villa’s case a world class manager, will do that to a team. Also highlights how much of a poor decision hiring Gerrard was.

It's crazy how congested so much of the table is this season. It only takes a few poor results from United and Spurs for 5th to be anyone's really...
Having said all that we have a seriously tough run of fixtures after the Forest game that run until the end of the season. Could do Coutinho and Cash back sooner rather then later.

It's easily cleared up. Kane was clearly in immense pain from such a blow to the head. You don't lay on the floor for that long barely moving unless you are. You have him taken off and assessed for concussion. Retrospective yellows and reds for simulation needs to happen.
