I'm not saying he's bad, but I wouldn't yet trust him as a single pivot

Yeah he really needs to today. No excuses we should be beating Southampton. No chance at a title challenge losing points this early.

Greenwood needs to go back down the middle with Sancho on.

Martial needs to be sold. Had far too many chances to come good but seems far too lazy in commitment. It is of no surprise Deschamps doesn't pick him when he is a more talented player than say Giroud.

Yes titles are regularly decided by the second match.

Also Deschamps does pick Martial, he was playing for France before his injury last year. Not sure how anyone can watch that half and think he's the problem, our passing from Matic and Fred has just been poor.
 
The bigger teams are going to suffer with these new rules, technical players can't excel when they are getting bits kicked out of them.

They ought to, last season Utd picked up the most points from losing positions (or nearly most) and Southampton were one of the worst at holding a lead.

If ever there was a fixture where you'd expect a second half turnover, it's probably this :p
