Bit harsh regarding the first game, he wasn’t on for long. But I agree, this time he’s not exactly made an impact.

Ole is playing him out of position to be fair. Sancho needs to be played with a proper striker. We are doing all this false 9 stuff still. Sancho will do well with Cavani up front.

I hope we manage to get a CDM over the line before the window closes. It is where we are clearly lacking as it was night and day when Mctominay came on.

Yep, sancho massive waste of money with no striker to play too and below poor centre mids. Top 4 finish if we were lucky again is my guess.

Was it though? We created a load more chances and they scored from a jammy deflection. It was just one of those days.

We were poor but still had 15 shots and 63% possession. They only managed to score due to a super deflection. It is never easy going all the way down to the south coast BUT if you want to be challenging you cannot be dropping points like this as was the case last season.
27 game unbeaten away in the league so something is right but we need to be winning more and drawing less.

Anyway time to get AFTV on and watch Guardiola's cone boy make up excuses.
Aside from a good 10 minutes, it was really very poor. Of course we'll have chances with the players we have, but the way the team regularly drift in and out of games has to be sorted. We can excuse it, but it happens way too often.
