Yeh, if Liverpool were in top form, where they are now, it'd be a tough ask.

You think if Liverpool were in top form it would be a tough ask to make up 4pts in 27 games? Have people taken a leave of their senses today?

How many players have they potentially going to the world cup.

Some teams are going to get lucky and have a mini preseason

Well, it'd be an ask at least.

Also the other teams would have to have a dip in form as well.

The doom and gloom around Liverpool is more related to performance and high expectations than anything in the table.
 
They set themselves high standards the last 5 seasons, the highest of standards. Right now they are way off that, and right now I don't see them finishing above Newcastle. This is not saying they are not capable of finishing in the top 4, that is well within their capabilities, however I see 6 more teams more capable of doing that at the current form, if it continues.
 
Tbh I'm surprised they didn't get a pen, so can't grumble too much about the latter decision.
