That wasn't enjoyable. It feels like we played the occasion rather than the team in front of us. Not being ahead after 10 mins and Everton intent on wasting time at every break in play led to us getting far too nervy and desperate to break the deadlock and that was hurting us not just in attack but at the back, leaving them far too many opportunities to break on us.

For large parts on his 7 years at the club he's been hugely frustrating but I can't think of too many players that have so regularly popped up with big goals or big moments when we've been struggling quite like Origi. He just seems to cause panic in opposition defenses, it's like they know his history and feel something bad's going to happen. All season I've said Everton won't go down and I still don't think they will but there would be something quite fitting about Everton getting relegated the season Origi leaves us given what he's done to them over the years.
 
I just saw this on twitter and had to double check it because it's so mad I couldn't believe it was true but it is. Allan, a central midfielder that played over 70 minutes of today's game completed just 2 passes and both were kick-offs :o

Yeah he’s West Brom’s problem now, doing an outstanding job as well he’s managed to get them from 5th place in the table to 13th in the space of two and a half months months , poor baggies fans.
The guy is stealing a living and somehow still manages to get jobs because of “mates in the media”

Lampard "If thats Salah he gets the penalty" is such a lazy pathetic thing to say with absolutely no evidence whatsoever. Salah has got 4 fouls in over 900 minutes of football. Ive seen the highlights and that first half was absolutely shameful from them, their fans need to be looking at that instead of crying about conspiracies.

If he takes them down how much blame will Lampard shoulder, Frank's pretty good at using them teflon shoulder pads.

Never his fault.
 
I still think Everton will stay up by the skin of their teeth. They've been here before, and escaped. I just think Burnley's time is probably up in the premiership now. They've done amazingly well to be there as long as they have. I think it might do Everton some good to go down though :p

Last time Everton were down at the bottom of the table was 20 years ago.
Burnley have far more experience being at the bottom, I think Everton are done, which is nice.
