That wasn't enjoyable. It feels like we played the occasion rather than the team in front of us. Not being ahead after 10 mins and Everton intent on wasting time at every break in play led to us getting far too nervy and desperate to break the deadlock and that was hurting us not just in attack but at the back, leaving them far too many opportunities to break on us.
For large parts on his 7 years at the club he's been hugely frustrating but I can't think of too many players that have so regularly popped up with big goals or big moments when we've been struggling quite like Origi. He just seems to cause panic in opposition defenses, it's like they know his history and feel something bad's going to happen. All season I've said Everton won't go down and I still don't think they will but there would be something quite fitting about Everton getting relegated the season Origi leaves us given what he's done to them over the years.
