Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [26th Feb - 4th March 2021]

@SS-89 have you not watched any football this season? In the summer they moved the point at which they measure handballs from the shoulder to the shirt sleeve and as such that's where they measure offsides from.

Glad it's not just me who noticed he wasn't there, I said to a mate take him off and put Jota on for second half

I mean I love the guy, he's put so many smiles on my face over the years but those smiles are becoming more and more rare and he just seems to be continuing to slide downhill. If Jota returns anywhere near the form he was in earlier in the season then I think it will be tough to give a case for Firmino over Jota.

The fact that offside is still talked about and they keep changing it is a farce in itself.

It shouldn't need to be so complex, as I said earlier if feet are level then it's onside regardless of what your arms, hands, biceps etc are doing as you don't score with them anyway

Then you’ll get offside goals given. You either leave it as black and white as it is, or scrap VAR for offsides altogether

Why do offsides have to be black and white and analysed to jobsworth proportions when VAR is still controversial with virtually every other situation? treat offsides as subjective like everything else and let the eyes decide if it's unclear by naked eye just call it onside.

If handballs are not always handball then why do offsides always have to be offside? just use some common sense a few millimetres are nothing the Chelsea striker could have probably a metre onside and still scored that goal.

Injuries or not, Liverpool's rapid downfall has been strange. They also got thrashed by Villa with a pretty much full strength team before the injuries got bad.

I've posted a few good articles about our form over the last few weeks but due to the fact Klopp's been so successful, people blame injuries and stick their heads in the sand.

This version of Liverpool is the most tactically inept I've ever seen, it's so broken it's unbelievable we've got a manager that's actually won a trophy, let alone multiple trophies.
