Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [26th Feb - 4th March 2021]

What is the point of Sheffield United. They are already going down. Might as well enjoy the rest of it and try and play football.

If I was a fan I would rather be finishing in and around the playoff positions every year in the championship than watch turgid boring football every week in the Prem.

Ive said for a long time these refs are awful. Only just seen that handball. Thats just criminal...it really is a poor decision and if what Shaw has said is true then wow.

Nice Kabak

To be fair, Kabak's a kid who's been brought in to save the day, and been thrown straight in. I also assume he doesn't speak the language. He's not been good so far, but he's come in in a pretty shocking situation.

In this day and age especially with VAR being remote. The refs should be from a different country. No matter what you say there will always be some bias with a ref. Have an English ref to do the basics on the pitch but VAR should make the decision for the ref with the big calls.

The ref tonight has basically taken it upon himself to overule VAR.

Based upon what I've seen so far, I'd be surprised if Kabak was kept on after his loan. Is there a reason why we havent played Davies yet?
From what I've seen a lot of the errors, eg the mix up with Alisson, have been communication more than anything. His actual defending looks ok, and he's reasonably physical and quick. I'd hope he improves pretty fast as he gets to know the team, but if he doesn't I agree that he shouldn't be kept on
