You think? I think he's very limited but in fairness to City he's been injured.

Money spent on garbage essentially. I didnt mind Cucurella but he looks awful for Chelsea. Koulibaly and Auba would have been good signings 5 years ago.
he's a quality CDM should never of been allowed to have his head turned by pep and the money available at city he's never going to get good game time in that midfield.

Chelsea are having rotten luck with injuries at the moment but some of their key players seem very injury prone. Chilwell and James barely seem to make it back into the team for more than a month before going off injured again.

How can Roy say nothings changed at OT. Has he actually seen any Utd games recently. Ian Wright put him straight by saying you can't say nothings changed, like last year, any team would come to OT and think they would win.

Is this 'the one' for Potter tonight? At least he has cleared up any doubts for me, now he has had time to analyse the situation thoroughly and come up with this insightful observation:

Potter added: 'The players want to win, they want to win, they don't want to lose.

Wrong place, wrong time for Potter at Chelsea. Turned up and the clubs in a total state of flux.

Still end of the day it was a free hit for him, do badly and get the sack you get a nice payoff and he'll still get a job at another Brighton level club afterwards. He could have stayed at Brighton but like Howe at Bournemouth and Dyche at Burnley you can only take a club that level so far before it goes stale and downhill he had to take the shot when offered.

Poor Potter looks like's he's aging a year for every day in this job. Much as I despise Chelsea I want Potter to do well. He's a good coach and a good man. Probably wasted at Stamford Bridge.

I'd agree with that. I really like him as a manager, I understand why he took the job but I think it was the wrong step at this stage of his career, or wrong time to be at Chelsea during their transition with new owners.
