Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2nd-4th Oct 2020]

Are they actually going to mention the team that played ManU off the park or is Sky now ManU TV??They got a good hiding and how about mentioning the team that scored 6?

Should tell you why people think it was such a drubbing no? Spurs were decent but any team would have smashed us today.

Got to love Sky, Evra is devastated and they stick the boot in saying he was involved last time they took a massive tanking :p

Evra's showing the difference between United's team a few years back and now. He thinks it's a complete embarrassment, and that these players shouldn't even show their face. United were all such winners and had to be to maintain the level they did for so long - anyone who wasn't uber critical of themselves and desperate to win was out. How many of this current team have that mindset? Pogba (and for that matter OGS) were smiling when the match ended. Maguire and a few others just wandered off. The only two players who seem to have that mindset are Shaw, who is otherwise not good enough, and McTomimay who should be the first name on the team sheet, not because he's their best player but because he's the only player on the team who will give people hell if they're not performing

Watched it with my neighbour who supports Spurs and we both agreed that despite winning 6-1 Spurs weren't really anything special today, in fact we we're both critical that Spurs didn't run up the score a bit, Man Utd we're really that bad today that it could've been anyone and they'd been comfortably beaten.

'Not the worst day'

Manchester United

"It's not the worst day in Manchester United's history" is Ole Gunnar Solskajer's opening line to MOTD.

I mean, that's one way of looking at it...

:D

We weren't brilliant but we've played 4 games in 7 days. We did everything we needed to do. Should have scored more I'd agree.

Adrian has got much worse since the run he last had in the team.

We could have a rough patch coming up with that injury + COVID

Cue Utd players saying ‘we’ll learn from this, we’re always looking to improve, we’ll come back stronger’ yadda, yadda, yadda... then going back to playing Fortnite or whatever they do other than actually care about their team.

Yep, its one of the huge problems we have. These players don't care. They have low expectations and no consequences for poor performances. They simply don't care.

Crazy to think that if this match is a draw, after only 4 matches there will only be 1 team with a 100% record left and thats Everton. Wonder what the odds on that were at the start of the season
